As many of you know, I will be attending The Amazing Meeting in Las Vegas next week. If you will be there as well, make sure you find me, I will have a bag full of Virtual Drinking Skeptically goodies to give out. Also, I just love turning my virtual friends in to meatspace friends!

If you can’t make it this year, that’s too bad, but there are a few ways you can live vicariously thanks to modern technology. First off, make sure you watch the #TAM9 tag on twitter, because there will be updates aplenty. Also, if you happen to be awake and near a computer on Thursday, July 14th, at 9pm PT (note the timezone), I will be attempting to run a Virtual DS from there.

From around 9pm PT (note the timezone!) to the point at which my laptop battery dies, I will be attached to a video chat from the Silverado Lounge, in the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas, with the “live” Drinking Skeptically going on around me. Anyone in the bar will be welcome to walk up to the camera, wave hello, and text chat with whomever is jacked in (last year the audio was not practical). If it’s anything like last year, we might even get a few notable people on camera.
